Global warming is transforming ecosystems and threatening the survival of millions of species, putting biodiversity at risk. Preserving biodiversity is essential for sustainability. To this end, ACCIONA has set a goal to achieve a Neutral Biodiversity Footprint, meaning it aims to prevent any net loss in biodiversity and achieve a positive net impact.
ACCIONA has surpassed its target of planting one million trees over five years, reaching a cumulative total of 1,085,278 voluntary plantings since 2021 — 458,921 of which were carried out in 2025 alone.
ACCIONA participates in recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
